Travel

The best option to get to Tartu is to book a flight straight to Tartu Airport. You'll be able to do it only if you leave Helsinki. Tartu Airport does not have any other routes yet.

Travelling from Tallinn airport to Tartu:

• The easiest way to get to Tartu from Tallinn airport is to take a bus. The bus station is right in front of the airport. The bus tickets can be purchased from HERE. You can buy the bus tickets in advance from the website to make sure you'll get a seat on the bus. The buses depart for Tartu every half an hour until midnight, and they are arriving to central Tartu.
• You can also take a train from the Ülemiste station, about 1 km from the airport. The train tickets can be purchased from HERE. However, the Tartu train station is not in central Tartu, and you must take a taxi.
